What happened Stella? Perhaps she's a bit overwhelmed with baby and commitments to Adidas and Daddy's marital woes so she just didn't have the time to devote to her collection this season. This entire collection looks like a total afterthought. Perhaps she is not far enough removed from the baggy and oversized maternity clothing that she wore herself. On the whole her fall 2006/winter 2007 collection is unflattering and depressing. I doubt if pal Gwyneth will be seen on the runway in any of these fashions.

This collection could not be more dark and drab. Lots of gray and black, even in the evening wear collection. Her ready-to-wear show opened up with a shapeless gray wool and knit coat. This was followed up by even more slouchy and unfitted dresses including an unfitted dress with blue and gray horizontal lines. There is however a single glimmer of hope in a lovely shocking blue wool coat worn over a mid thigh knitted turtle neck dress.

I'm not sure what direction she's trying to go in as far as her evening wear is concerned. It looks to me like a combination of outer space and medieval fashion all in one.

Sorry Stella, not this time.
