Ralph Lauren Fall 2006 Winter 2007 Ready to Wear Collection

Leave to to Ralph Lauren to honor an English country manor style like no one else. His newest collection is inspired by what he calls a "modern shooting party" and it's pure classic British Country.

His use of plaids, flannel and wool in shades of moss and brown along with deep green velvets and suedes and a touch of fur highlight this collection which takes a nod of inspiration from the well dressed English gentleman.

A three piece plaid business suit is updated with mid thigh cuffed culottes worn with an extra large pin point collar and wide tie. Another business suit pairs bell legged pants with a tightly fitted blazer. Yet again Lauren shines when he shows another grey three piece suit paired with slim pants.

Leather accents a four button blazer with capri pants in glen plaid. Deep green velvets and suedes abound in this collection. Long flowing cashmere capes and a horse-blanket wrap are used.

This is definitely a collection worth checking out.
