Pirate Fashion?

What was that I read last week about pirate fashion? Apparently skulls and crossbones are making a big splash - for some. I think that is has to do with the release of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie, another way to get some advertising. Seems that movies over the years have become a platform for advertising and merchandising along with being entertainment.

I for one don't plan to have an eye patch, parrot on my shoulder or skull and crossbones tattooed anytime soon.
