For Summer 2006 - White is the "New Accessory"

Good morning Fashionistas! What was it I saw yesterday in the fashion section of our local paper - oh yes, white as the "new accessory". Hmmm. I love fashion writers and the fashion scene. Fashion is the ultimate example of "everything old is new again." I remember when I was in junior high school my father took me to buy new shoes. They had saddle shoes in the store and he wanted me to choose them. He told me that I'd cause a new fashion sensation. UGH! What does Dad know about fashion anyway? No way I said. Well, it was probably three weeks later that I begged him to buy me those exact shoes. Sorry, I digress a bit. Since when is white "new"? I have always loved to wear white during the summer, it looks crisp and cool and goes with absolutely ANY other color in my wardrobe.
